The beginning
Three medicos from three different regions.
The idea did not begin inside a boardroom. It began through conversations between medicos from
Uttarakhand, Maharashtra and Delhi — each carrying a different view of healthcare staffing,
doctor availability and hospital requirements.
The meeting point
The same concern kept appearing again and again.
While discussing clinical postings, hospital needs and doctor career options, one pattern became
obvious: both hospitals and doctors were searching, but not always finding each other in a reliable,
structured and timely way.
The lapse
The issue was not absence of job apps. The issue was relevance.
Many job platforms already exist, but healthcare staffing has its own realities — urgent duty
coverage, verified qualifications, specialty-specific requirements, shift-based needs, trust,
timing and accountability.
The question
Why is the gap still present if so many job apps exist?
That question became the starting point. We realised that hospitals do not simply need applicants,
and doctors do not simply need listings. Both sides need a focused healthcare workflow that respects
clinical responsibility and real-world availability.
The brainstorming
That discussion slowly became LocumNet.
The idea evolved into a platform where hospitals can post requirements, request quotations and
communicate their needs, while doctors can build a profile, share availability and become part of a
verified network.
The principle
Made by doctors. Literally. For doctors and hospitals.
LocumNet is being built by doctors, quite literally — including the website, user flows, dashboards,
forms, admin tools and platform logic. The goal is not to create another generic job board, but to
build a practical system with doctors, hospitals and healthcare teams working together.
