LocumNet respects your privacy. This policy describes the information used to operate the platform and the choices available to users. It is a launch-readiness statement of current product practices and is not a claim of legal certification.

1. Information We Collect

We may process account and contact data; doctor qualifications, specialty, registration and availability information; hospital or institution profiles and branches; job, requirement, quotation and application data; communications; and security or technical data generated when the service is used.

2. Professional and Verification Information

Doctors may submit a medical registration certificate, government-issued photo identity document and optional qualification documents. These documents support manual professional verification. They are not displayed publicly or made available to hospitals and other doctors by default. LocumNet does not ask users to enter an Aadhaar number as their platform identity.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information for account creation, staffing matching, professional verification, hospital operations, quotation and requirement handling, service communications, platform security, fraud or misuse prevention, dispute handling and legal or operational recordkeeping.

4. Sharing of Information

We disclose only information appropriate to the staffing workflow. Doctor-facing feeds do not expose private hospital contact details or restricted commercial totals. Verification identity documents are not shared with hospitals by default. We do not sell personal information.

5. Service Providers

LocumNet uses service providers that support current platform operations: Supabase for authentication, database services and private document storage infrastructure; Netlify for website hosting and deployment; and Resend for transactional email. These providers process information according to their role in delivering the service.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to restrict access and protect platform information. No digital service can guarantee absolute security, and users must protect their login credentials.

7. Retention

Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for platform operations, legal or contractual obligations, dispute handling and security, subject to applicable requirements. Retention may continue after account closure where a lawful or operational reason requires it.

8. User Requests

Users may request access or correction where applicable, update their profile, request account or data deletion subject to necessary retention, withdraw optional communications, or seek privacy and grievance assistance through the Contact page.

9. Healthcare Disclaimer

LocumNet is a staffing and connection platform. We do not provide medical advice, clinical supervision or direct patient care through this website.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of LocumNet after changes means you accept the revised policy.
